What a writing adventure I’ve been on since the Sin Series began and it just keeps rolling along. What’s the Sin Series? It started in 2000 with the release of my first romance suspense novel, Sin. In that book Reverend Nedra Davis–a minister renowned for her anti–drug activism–falls for the handsome and mysterious Sinclair Reasoner, who, unknown to her, is involved in the drug trade. The novel received critical acclaim and was re-released a couple of years ago.
Sinful Intentions is the sequel to Sin. It was selected in by Blackrefer.com as the Romance Suspense Novel of the Year. Sinful Intentions follows Nedra and Sinclair as they engage in the struggle of their lives against a psychopath who threatens to destroy their family. Sinful Intentions was selected as a read by the Black Expressions Book Club and it was also re-released by the publisher in April 2009. The next installment of the Sin Series is titled Singing a Song… In this one Nedra’s cousin, super star singer, Darnell Cameron, takes center stage when she falls in love with movie star, Thad Stewart, who is marked for death by a killer. Released in January 2009, Singing a Song… was also selected as a read by the Black Expressions Book Club. In 2010 look for the release of two more of my books—Small Sensations (August), the story of a 32 year old grandmother and Still Waters… (December), the sequel to Singing a Song…

Meanwhile, the Grandmothers, Incorporated book series that I write with fellow author, L. Barnett Evans, has been a gift that just keeps on giving. My writing partner and I wrote a play based on the characters from the book and Grandmothers, Incorporated—the play-- made its stage debut Off Broadway in April 2010 at the Billie Holiday Theatre! What a ride that was. The second installment of the comedy fiction Grandmother, Incorporated series is coming. Titled Saving Sin City!, like its predecessor the storyline continues to follow the escapades of three widows in their sixties who fancy themselves as being amateur detectives. As usual they turn the lives of everyone around them upside down in their hilarious pursuit for justice.
